Through the X-R-Files, we at the IBA seek to "analyze the signs of the present time" (Luke 12:56).  It is an enterprise whose aim is the collection, recording, and cataloguing of anamolous phenomena related to the Biblical world.  Certainly, these things include such occurences as found in the venue of the Bible, but also in the world thereafter.  Since the Bible writes of the time in which we live, it is, by extension, part of the Biblical world.  While a majority of what we study is quantifiable, like other matters of faith and the supernatural, a great number are most decidedly not.  Enter the X-R-Files, whose name derives from the Early Christian abbreviation of "Christ" (the Greek Letters Chi and Rho).

What sorts of occurences are we interested in?  In sum, signs and wonders.  While that coveres some general ground, we can expand that to phenomena such as miracles, visions, prophecies, angelic manifestations, healings, demonic manifestation, and exorcisms, to name some overarching categories.
