COURSE DESCRIPTION
The History of Christianity is an overview of the history of the church.  The study is divided into four periods:  the Early Church, the Byzantine Era, Medieval Christianity, and the Early Modern Period.  Key figures and events addressed include Jesus, Peter, Paul, James, Clement, Irenaeus, Origen, Tertullian, Augustine, the Papal line, the Protestant Reformation, and Catholic Counter-Reformation.  Offered monthly.
