An online journal of the Classical World and the Ancient Near East

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

The Bulletin of Classical and Oriental Ethnology is a journal devoted to the Classical World and the Ancient Near East.  The journal seeks to promote scholarship in the historical ethnology of Mesopotamian, Persian, Egyptian, Levantine, Greek, Roman, and other societies of the Mediterranean and Near East, encouraging both conventional and unorthodox topics and approaches.   Biblical anthropology and area studies are emphasized but additional methodologies are also embraced.  A secondary function of the bulletin is to provide a paltform for the publication of expedition, excavation, and research reports on the search for "storied" or "legendary" artifiacts, as the pursuit of such objects should also be of legitimate scholarly interest.
