The purpose of USAV is twofold. The first priority is to conduct and
disseminate archaeological, ethnographic, and historical research (largely in Texas and the U.S., but not exclusively).
The second, of equal importance, is to educate the public and those we conduct research for about finds of archaeological,
ethnographical, and historical significance.
The capable members of our staff have various expertises in archaeology, history, ethnology,
and GIS/cartography. These specializations are put to use in the various projects we undertake. We have a wide
variety of interests collectively including Texas archaeology and history, folklore, mythology, American history and archaeology,
Biblical archaeology and history, religion, and Native American culture. At any rate, we are willing to take on
whatever projects may arise at either the request of and interested party willing to fund such research, or of our
own volition and development.
